As for paid keyword tools, I like Ubersuggest. A keyword tool can tell you the keywords that are competitive and those that are longtail and easier to rank for.
It’s important to write articles that your niche audience needs help with. This is how you’ll get that free targeted web traffic.
Content Creation
Writing new articles will be a bulk of your job when maintaining a niche website. Search engines like fresh, relevant content.
One of the important things about writing a new post for your website is to write with intent.
What is the intent of the keyword phrase you’re writing about? Let’s say that the keyword phrase you’re targeting is “how to clean a coffee maker.”
You can tell that the searcher’s intent is to learn how to properly clean a coffee maker.
Therefore, you’ll want to write an informative article that explains in detail how to clean a coffee maker.
Within your content, you can recommend affiliate products that your reader would benefit from.
The length of the article is not as important. If you are writing with the intent of helping your reader really understand what it takes to clean a coffee maker, your article will be over 1,000 words easy.
